Nonprofit and government organizations are invited to submit project proposals for clearly defined strategic tasks that could be completed by a Fels MPA student in fulfillment of their capstone degree requirement. Projects typically involve creating a strategic plan, conducting data analysis, researching and making policy recommendations, or designing and performing a program evaluation. There are two submission cycles each year. Fels Lab project proposals must be submitted by May 15 for projects to be completed by the end of the following April. Fels Lab project proposals must be submitted by October 15 for projects to be completed by the end of the following July.
