Join us for a lunchtime Public Policy in Practice event as we welcome Mark K. Updegrove, president and CEO of the LBJ Foundation and the presidential historian and political analyst for ABC News. Beyond his roles at the LBJ Foundation and ABC News, he is the author of six books on the presidency, including his most recent, Make Your Mark: Lessons in Character from Seven Presidents. Earlier in his career, he was the director of the LBJ Presidential Library and publisher of Newsweek and has written for the New York Times, Politico, and TIME. He has interviewed seven US presidents.

The Public Policy in Practice Series, led by Fels Distinguished Fellow Elizabeth Vale, is designed to provide students with a variety of perspectives and compelling personal narratives that will help them not only form their opinions on important issues but will also help shape their careers.
