Samantha Sangenito is an instructor at the Fels Institute of Government and Political Science department at the University of Pennsylvania, where she teaches topics in data science to graduate and undergraduate students. As a data scientist in the public sector, she developed performance management systems that allow communities to track and evaluate their efforts towards becoming trauma-informed. Her teaching and research interests include quantitative methods, policies' impact to children's development and well-being, as well as the practical application of data analytics for the public sector. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree from Lafayette College.
