The course is taught through a combination of theory and practice using selected readings, lectures, guest presentations, group activities (Mock senior staff discussions), and field assignments (pairing with area nonprofit leader and attendance at one of the organization's board meetings).

This course has seats reserved for Fels' students and gives priority to grad students. Non-Fels students should contact Mindy Zacharjasz at mindyzac@sas.upenn.edu to request a permit. Seats are not guaranteed to post-bacc or undergraduate students.
